Menemen:

Menemen is usually enjoyed as a morning dish. Menemen tastes best when it is served along with bread. It is a traditional Turkish dish and is loved all over the state of Turkey. It is a very simple but a tasty dish. All you need is green pepper, onion, tomato, butter and eggs. Add the ingredients, and all you get is a tasty Menemen. You can add pepper and other spices as well to add to the taste of the dish.

Dolma:

Turkey is one place where you will find a lot of stuffed dishes. The word simply refers to stuffed. Dolma is also a stuffed food item that is found all around Turkey. It is one food that is loved by locals and tourists alike. It is quite a common dish as if found in the streets stalls of Turkey as well. There are different varieties of Dolma, and they differ depending on the type of stuff that is inside.

Kebap:

For all you non-vegans out there, kebap, as the natives call it, is one dish that you simply can’t avoid if you are in Turkey. To be honest, the dish is quite popular all around the world, and the other countries call it Turkish kebab to add significance to the dish. However, the rest of the world will never be able to beat the native chefs. Meat acts as the base dish, and depending on the type of meat, the dishes differ.

Güllaç:

Now that we are done with the main course dishes, you need something, probably the best in the list, to end your meal with. So we have added a dessert to the list, and it is nothing but güllaç. Güllaç is a sweet dessert that has pomegranate, milk and pastry in it. As the pastry differs, the taste of the dish differs accordingly. The güllaç dishes that were made initially had quite an uninteresting recipe. Later with a little bit of innovation, the dish rose to prominence. Today most people who dine in big restaurants end their meal with güllaç.
